    Director of Case Management

Las Vegas, Nevada Permanent Day Shift

    The Opportunity

Leading a 790-bed, Trauma Level II acute care operation takes more than clinical knowledge — it takes a director who has seen enough to know what works and is ready to build something that lasts. This is that role. With over 34,000 annual admissions, nearly 88,000 emergency department visits, and more than 215,000 outpatient encounters each year, this Director of Case Management position is built for someone whose career is defined by scale, complexity, and results that show up in the data.

This is a full-time, permanent position operating on days with rotating weekend coverage. Shifts run 7 to 10 hours and are structured for a senior leader who performs at a high level without sacrificing schedule predictability. One opening is available, and the position is ready to fill.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is on the table for the right candidate, and relocation assistance is considered on a case-by-case basis for those coming from outside the region. Compensation is competitive based on experience and reflects the seniority and scope of this role. The department you will lead spans case management, social work, and the chaplain department — roughly 110 FTEs in total, with four direct-report managers, a social work supervisor, and an administrative assistant rounding out the structure. You will report directly to the VP of Case Management, positioning you one step from regional executive leadership.

An active RN license is strongly preferred; candidates holding LCSW or LMSW licensure will also be considered. A bachelor's degree is required at minimum, with a master's degree in nursing, health administration, or business administration preferred. You must bring at least three years of acute care hospital case management experience and a minimum of two years in a case management leadership role. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a proven ability to translate data into action plans, cultivate strong physician and post-acute relationships, and lead through organizational change with credibility, presence, and no need for hand-holding.

This role will not stay open long. If your background lines up with what is outlined here, the next step is a direct conversation. No lengthy process, no runaround — just a real discussion about whether this is the right move for your career. Reach out now and let us give you everything you need to make that call.

    Why Las Vegas?

Las Vegas holds a unique position among American cities — it is simultaneously one of the fastest-growing metros in the country and one of the most consistently underestimated places to build a career and a life. The growth is not accidental. Nevada levies no state income tax, the cost of living remains well below coastal benchmarks, and the regional economy has diversified steadily over the last decade well beyond tourism. Healthcare has become one of the dominant industries driving that expansion, and demand for senior clinical leadership continues to outpace supply — which is precisely why opportunities like this one surface here.

Life outside the hospital is genuinely compelling for those who know where to look. Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area sits twenty minutes west of the city, offering world-class hiking, climbing, and desert scenery that catches first-time visitors completely off guard. Lake Mead is a short drive east, drawing boaters and kayakers throughout the year thanks to the consistently mild climate. Families drawn to the region find that the Summerlin and Henderson suburbs deliver strong school systems, safe neighborhoods, and a pace that feels nothing like the Las Vegas of the travel guides. The restaurant and arts scene has matured substantially, with nationally recognized chefs and a growing cultural corridor that gives residents real reasons to stay. Winter temperatures rarely dip below the mid-40s, summers are dry rather than oppressively humid, and the sun shows up nearly every day — a lifestyle detail that carries real weight for anyone relocating from the Midwest or the Northeast.
