What they need
An experienced RN or Licensed Clinical Social Worker ready to lead. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a Master’s Degree in Social Work, along with active licensure (RN, LCSW, or LMSW). A minimum of three years of acute care clinical or hospital social work experience is required, plus at least two years of supervisory or leadership experience in an acute care setting. Strong knowledge of hospital-based case management, care coordination, and patient throughput is essential. InterQual experience and case management–related certifications are preferred.
