What They Need
An active Florida RN license or an eligible Compact Registered Nurse license with the ability to obtain a state-specific license within ninety days of hire. An Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing is required, though a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is highly preferred. A minimum of three years of recent clinical case management experience within an acute care hospital environment. Alternatively, three years of experience within specialized acute units such as Med/Surg, Telemetry, Neurology, ICU, PCU, or the Emergency Department will be strongly considered. Candidates transitioning from Home Health or Insurance Case Management are welcome, provided they possess three years of total acute care background with at least one year spent in an acute care facility within the past five years. A proactive professional who can comfortably spearhead interdisciplinary team meetings and conduct thorough utilization management reviews.
